Kormarine Conference and Exhibition 2023 was held in Bexco, Busan Korea from October 24 to 26, 2023.

The theme of this year is ‘Maritime Sustainability: Innovating for a Greener Future’ and aimed at (i) providing a platform for experts in marine and offshore shipbuilding industry, (ii) raising awareness in green technology in marine and offshore shipbuilding industry, and (iii) accelerating the recovery of world economy. The event served as a venue for strategic exploration and opportunity to provide insight into the industry with experts from various fields.

AMON Partner Alfa Laval (Marine Division, South Korea) participated both in the Exhibition and the Conference. 

The company had a booth in the Exhibition Center to show products and create networking. 

The Conference took place in the Convention Hall, and Alfa Laval presentation was on the first day. The speech was entitled Development of Methanol & Ammonia related Products for Decarbonization of Shipping and was included in session 3 “Sustainable Maritime Technology and Emerging Opportunity”.

Stefano Bottino (Global Sales Manager, Fuell Supply Systems) and David Jung (Business Development Manager, Heat & Gas Systems) mentioned the AMON project among the ongoing activities focusing on ammonia in Alfa Laval.

More than 100 interested people attended the presentation.
